The vision of this project is to create a community of tiny homes to provide housing for women who are in need of a safe place to begin again. The primary focus are women who are coming from crisis living situations.

In addition to housing, Kristie’s Place will provide opportunity for residents to learn new skills to help them gain confidence and thrive. Classes, counseling, and other resources will become available on-site and connecting with the local community.

The goal is to help women and children to stand on their own, encouraging sustainable living practices. Introduction to gardening and animal husbandry, classes on preserving, cooking affordably & healthy are just a few of the opportunities that will be available going forward.

These skills also provide a means of gaining financial stability.

Providing affordable shelter is the first step in the process of helping women to become strong, secure, and independent.
